“I was very pleasantly surprised by the fact that Murder on the Links : Methodologie is quite unlike all the other cluedo-esque and narrative focused games of their respective genres. Instead, think of the game more as a social deduction game that plays up to 6p AND has more room for the group imagination for how it eventually unfolds. — While the game itself is more of a sandbox deduction game, there is still quite a bit to infer based on the who, what, where of the case which are cleanly referred to by numbers.”

“The artwork definitely pulls you into that old world, that Agatha Christie feel. It definitely has that vibe to the game. — It is a social deduction game and it is different every time you play, especially with the different player counts and how many cards you play between a 3 player, 4, 5 and 6. So it really changes the dynamic as you explore this game.”

“I really enjoyed the game mechanics, the look of the game, and the strategizing required to win the game as well as the player interaction. For these reasons, I recommend Methodologie: Murder on the Links for those who enjoy social deduction games as well as something different with an interesting theme.”

“If you’re the kind of person who really likes deduction and in a multiplayer sense that isn’t nearly as heavy going through a long story this will definitely be a fun one.”
“Love this game!!”
“– If memory and deduction are things you’re interested in, we would recommend you check out this game! But do be wary if you don’t enjoy having your memory tested!”
“Need to play this one more. I feel like ther are interesting strategies to discover, they just weren’t apparent in the first two plays.”
“Artwork looks great!”
“I played the prototype in a group of six. I recommend it highly – it’s a really fun game with lots of variation each time you play.”
“Love that art style! (Responding to post dated February 17, 2022)”
“You can’t assume the game works one way just because you’ve played other social deduction games. The strategies used in this game are different, and you may not figure out the best way to play until after your 1st, or 2nd, or 3rd play of the game!…… or 4th… or 5th if you’re a dummy. All of that IS NOT a bad thing, it just means it’s a deeper game! Your first game may just be a “let’s just figure this out” kind of game.”
